Working according to Good Cell Culture Practice (GCCP) does not cost a penny – and it does not even cost more time 🌟🌟🌟
This is what we often hear:
➡ “We do not need GCCP in our research labs.”
➡ “I am so much faster if I pipette this my way.”
➡ “I am sure, my students and employees do it right.”
Then who needs GCCP? GCCP seems to be a matter of belief. If you do not need GCCP in your lab, then in what quality standard do you believe in? 🤔
Regarding speed: You may be faster with “your way” of pipetting, but if your pipetting technique does not follow recommended guidelines and existing standards, your experiments will not be reproducible in the long run.
Is saving time (if you save time at all) really the highest of your priorities? 🤔
Are you sure, your students and employees do it right? Have you asked them how exactly they implement GCCP in your lab? Have you watched them during their probation period? 🤔
Unlike Good Manufacturing Practice (#GMP) or Good Laboratory Practice (#GLP), Good Cell Culture Practice or #GCCP is not as complex. 👌
It is just the 💡knowledge💡 of doing things correctly in the cell culture laboratory, according to international guidelines. No expensive equipment or facilities are required. 👍👍👍
It does not even take more time.
All it takes is the right attitude and mindfulness. ⭐🙏⭐
