It is common knowledge that the greater the biological diversity of an #ecosystem, the higher its likelihood to survive. Why? Well, because ecosystems with more options to respond to external or internal challenges simply have bigger potential for #adaptation. 💪💪

Time and time again, we have seen that diversity is also important for the composition of teams in life science labs. Here, we are not talking just about the diversity regarding gender, nationality, age etc. We take this for granted (c’mon, this is 2025!). We are talking about the next step. We often see teams proudly presented by institutions that LOOK nicely diverse, but it does not help the intellectual ecosystem if they TICK the same way.

So, we ask for diversity inside AND out. 🙃

The strongest scientific teams we met were specialists with diverse styles of thinking, attitude towards problem-solving, intellectual orientation etc. They were diverse from the inside! 🌺🌸🌹

United they were, however, by something we have much appreciation for: their love for scientific rigour. 💛❤️💙
