Inspired by Swami Vivekananda 🙏 on the ship 🚢 to Chicago (1892), Jamsetji N. Tata decided to found a research institution 🏛, which was officially established on 27th May 1909.

Today, 115 years later, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) represents a unique combination of science and engineering and, among others, translational medicine. ✨✨✨

It is a humbling experience for any researcher to visit the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru as we did during a business delegation organized by Advantage Austria New Delhi in February 2024! 🇦🇹 🇮🇳
